Warsash needs a beach clean

This beach is filthy.  It's partly the winter storms, but it's mainly because not enough of us care, so I'm going to take a small stand and make a small statement and give it a Spring clean as part 

We’re aiming to clean a small stretch of the Warsash foreshore between The Rising Sun pub and the Maritime College on Saturday Morning on the 5th of April from 9:30am until 12 midday.  After that we’ll go to the pub and have a drink and bask in the warm glow of righteousness. 

We’ll meet in the pub car park (there’s extra parking in the big car park on Passage lane as minute’s walk away), from 9:15 am and we’re hoping to persuade local businesses to support us with some refreshments.

We hope that the local council will also support us with bin bags, gloves and litter-pickers but please do bring as much clobber as you can. Especially gardening/working gloves.

If anyone has friends in low places who might be able to help in anyway please do let me know.
